Send us a quotation even somebody else's
We mean it. If you have a figure from another firm and cannot tell what service it covers, send it over. Reading it costs you nothing and it is frequently the difference between two quotations that look far apart and are quoting different things.
What we will tell you about another quotation
Which service it is for — dedicated or shared, sole use or groupage, self storage or container. Whether waiting time, permits and materials appear to be included. And on an international figure, whether destination charges look as though they are in it.
What we will not do is tell you a competitor is bad, or use your enquiry to undercut them by a fixed margin. We will send our own figure for the same work and let the two documents speak.
Send photographs of both ends
The approach, the front door, the staircase and anything a vehicle would struggle with. Three or four photographs from each address settle most access questions before anybody visits, and they take a couple of minutes rather than an email exchange.
If something went wrong
Write and say so plainly. Your booking contract covers claims and the time limits on them, and we would far rather deal with it directly than leave you reading clauses on your own.
